A Special Delivery

Today marks the five year anniversary of losing my mom to breast cancer. Something I will never forget about my mom was her love of sunflowers. Our entire porch was covered in sunflowers…sunflowers in vases, sunflowers on boxes, and sunflowers in paintings. She even inspired my first pottery piece: a sunflower, of course. Today, I get to remember her in a very special way by delivering a piece in memory of someone else's mother. It is not a sunflower, but I image my mom would have loved it just the same.
