Julie Ann McKevitt is a visual artist in metro-Atlanta. She is particularly known for her detailed paintings, happy and bright images, and projects that inspire kindness in everyday life.
Julie McKevitt has been painting with acrylics for over 15 years. She has had the honor of painting a large-scale mural on the Atlanta BeltLine as well as designing one of the City of Decatur’s official postcards. She has been commissioned by clients throughout the country.
After witnessing a strong need for artistic outlets for youth, Julie began Paint Love in 2014. Paint Love brings extraordinary arts programming for youth facing poverty and trauma. Julie served as the Executive Director until 2019 and grew the organization into one of the most sought-after nonprofit art programs for youth in Atlanta. She believes in the therapeutic power art can have and strives to give young people the ability to grow through art. Julie and Aaron and their two daughters reside in Duluth, GA.
