The Artist In Me!
We are so excited to announce our summer camp theme is “The Artist in Me!”
Students will not only get a chance to create their own works of art (through studying new artists, art forms, and exploring their own creativity), they will get to learn a small part of the business-side too.
Students will put on their own art show at the end of camp, plus they will have bonus projects like creating a pet portrait for a “client” (Animal Art Week) and developing a storyboard for a stop motion video (Illustration & Animation Week).
In addition to visual arts, we will have one combo Performing/Visual Arts Workshop (Annie Jr) from July 13-17!
We also have a few surprises planned, for example: “My Reptile Guys” will join us for Animal Art Week so we can draw and meet a few animals live!
Our goal is for students to finish camp with a greater sense of confidence in themselves as artists, creators, and storytellers.
Camp runs 9:30am-3:30pm and is created for rising 1st-6th graders, except our Annie Jr. Workshop (July 13-17), which will accept rising 4th-9th graders.
