This kit comes packed and ready for some creative Fall Break fun!
We haven’t revealed all of the activities just yet, but one of them will include a comic strip project. Students will be invited to draw their own comic strip and send us a digital copy by email or text. We’ll combine the submitted artwork into a printed comics page called Saturday Morning Cartoons, which will be available for pickup at select times throughout the week and weekend.
We’ll also have daily drawing prompts and an online Fall Break portal where we can post and share student artwork throughout the week.
Only artwork that is submitted to us will be shared. Caregivers can choose whether their student’s first name, initials, or no byline at all are included with the artwork.
You can also purchase the Digital Package for access to the Fall Break portal and Saturday Morning Cartoons without purchasing the full kit.
PICK UP INFORMATION:
Kits will be made available starting after school Friday, October 9th from 3:30pm-5:30pm and on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00am-12:00pm at Art Hall’s new space in Duluth - it’s currently getting paint and flooring - so pick up will be in the front or back of the space (2856 Buford Hwy, Unit #8, Duluth, GA 30096). If these pick-up times do not work for you, contact us and we can arrange a separate pick-up window.
Students who purchase the Digital Package version of the Fall Break Art Kit can still participate in the portal, posted online activities, and send in their own comic strip to be included in the Saturday Morning Cartoons.
Digital Package students will also be able to pickup a copy of the Saturday Morning Cartoons at select times throughout the week and weekend.
Only artwork that is submitted to us will be shared. Caregivers can also choose whether their student’s first name, initials, or no byline at all are included with the artwork.
